Division of Technical Training

  • The Technical Training Division organizes training courses for all employees and students of the university in order to improve the scientific and technical skills of workers in various fields, including specialized courses in computer and informatics networks, interconnection equipment and network operating systems, in addition to holding many initial and advanced courses in the Internet and its services and advanced maintenance courses, and granting them a certificate issued from Center after passing the course successfully .
  • The division periodically studies the training needs of the Center and coordinates to cover these needs with the rest of the divisions of the center.
  • The division prepares the necessary curricula and pamphlets for topics of the courses offered by the Center.
  • It sets plans and procedures related to improving the level of staff and workers in the Center.
  • It coordinates with external training Authorities to implement courses for candidates through the Functional Skills Development Program.
  • It prepares a monthly report on the Division submitted to the Director of the Information Technology Center, showing the progress of the training process, and concludes this periodic report with an annual report at the end of the year, showing the difference between the year and previous years with regard to training.
  • The Division follows up the extent to which participants benefit from the courses that were implemented for them. It distributes evaluation forms for the courses, and extracts statistics and methods of development from these results.
  • It deals with government agencies related to the training process.
